I have always found that a strong foundation in traditional art helps to strengthen one's ability to take on all other art endeavors, even in a digital environment. Before I was drawn into the digital realm by the temptations of speed and flexibility,original intentions were to remain a traditional artist for the entirety of my career. However people and mentalities are ever evolving, and i found that i too must evolve in order to keep up with the art world i find myself surrounded by. I have always had a deep love for traditional mediums and figure drawing specifically. I love the challenge of mapping every unique fold in each new models skin, and finding the minute differences that make each one of us unique.
