Battling Extinction is a mobile and browser based app designed for the education of 8-14 year old students. The goal of the app is to inform students about animals that are currently at risk of extinction, and how they can help to save the animals and their environment. I work on a team of 5 students on this project. Each student picked an animal that they felt strongly about and made a four animations for a section of the app. THe anima i worked on was called the vaquita, a dolphin like animal that lives in the gulf of California who numbers have dipped below the 200's.
